Dimensions Lab: Synth Lab

A recordings studio for electronic music and sound design. 

Details: 

The Synth Lab is located in the Dimensions Lab in the Holland Library and is available by reservation only.   

The Library reserves the right to deny checkout of the Synth Lab to any borrower for any reason. 

You must be a current student, staff or current/emeritus faculty member at WSU and provide Cougar Card or state-issued picture ID and know your ID number. 

You will need to show a confirmation of your booking to staff at the Library Circulation Desk upon arrival. 

You will be required to sign an Synth Lab Checkout agreement at least once upon checkout at the circulation desk, and once whenever the form has been updated. 

The Synth Lab may be checked out for one session a day (usually 3-4 hours in length), with no renewals, available Monday - Saturday on school days during the semester. 

The Synth Lab may be checked out once in a 7-day period, and sessions may be booked up to 2 weeks in advance.

  • Akai Professional MPC Key 37 – sequencer/sampler workstation 

  • Electron Digitakt II – sequencer/sampler

  • Behringer RD-8 MKII – drum machine, Roland TR-808 clone
